Ethena has expanded its DeFi ecosystem by integrating its stablecoin USDe and staked variant tsUSDe with the TON blockchain. This move brings dollar-denominated savings to over a billion Telegram users through familiar wallets like TON Space, MyTonWallet, TonHub, and TonKeeper.
The integration simplifies access to DeFi yields within the Telegram app, targeting regions where traditional banking remains inaccessible. A 16-week campaign offers users up to 18% APY on tsUSDe holdings, aiming to drive adoption.
By leveraging Telegram’s existing wallet infrastructure, Ethena eliminates onboarding friction and taps into a highly engaged user base. The launch signals a strategic push toward mass-market crypto adoption through seamless social media integration.
